I'll just say this again - DO NOT READ THIS NOVELLA unless you've read the first four books in the Elemental Witches series. Micah is one of the favourite characters from this series although he doesn't actually have a full book of his own (which is a travesty in my opinion!) but this novella gives you a H-E-A for Micah, albeit it only a snapshot of a story.Because I have read the Elemental Witches series, I understood the references made in this novella to some of the other characters but this could be confusing if you decide to skip the warnings and read it anyway. As a snapshot, this is a good novella. To get the best from it, read the whole series!http://archaeolibrarianologist.blogsp...

Anya Bast has made a amazing story of elemental witches and turned it into gold. This was a short story, but of one of the characters I've been fascinated about since book one and that is Micah. This author didn't do anything that would make me lose interest, but instead she peaked my interest more. This is a must read for the loyal fans of the elemental witches.

I really enjoyed this short read. Micah was in all the books and I was so curious about him and hoped he had HEA and reading Witch Fury.

Posted At: Riverina RomanticsMy Rating: 3.5 out of 5 *Hotness Rating: 3 out of 5 <3Micah! We get a story about Micah! Yay!This is a short story about one of my favorite characters in the elemental witches series. I wish it could have been a full-length novel, hell even a novella would have made me happier. But we don't always get what we want. *pout*this tiny little thing takes place after the end of the series. Micah is dealing with the aftermath of the last book, trying to move on and live his life. With the help of Amalie, he still testing it spells and 80 the rest of the witches. From the beginning, he had always been an amazing character. He had so much promise to be an epic story. Then everything went straight to hell, and I almost cried for him.I'm so glad he got a happy ever after. After everything he has been through during the series, especially the last book, it was nice to see him get the love I know he deserved. It was short. It was sweet. And it was the perfect epilogue to a great series.

I love, love, loved this book series, it was my first introduction to Anya Bast's novels and I can happily say my world is a little bit brighter because of her enchanting worlds. The series this novella belongs to was wonderfully written with a great balance of action, thrills and my favourite part romance!! Bast puts a lot of time into her character development and the series left me wanting more from Micah's character, so I was obviously thrilled when I found this!!As the disclaimer states this should not be read until you have completed the full series as it contains some spoilers. Overall while I really enjoyed getting a little bit more from the characters in this novella I thought it was rather rushed and would have enjoyed a little more development. It seemed to me that alot of time went into the first half of this piece but the ending was lacked a lot of detail that could have just pushed it over the edge, and while it provides us with a happy ending for the characters within I was still left wanting more!

Kudos to the author for adding a Spoiler Alert at the beginning of the book, which more or less says do not read this unless you have read the novels it is linked to.That makes it easier for the reader to understand who these characters are, especially as this short story does not work as a stand-alone piece. It is like an a bonus novella that explores the story of Micah and Emily.I found it a little rushed, but full of potential. There are also a few minor errors, however the author has added a cute disclaimer about those also.Hopefully the full length versions are a little less rushed and a little more in depth.

It was nice to see the Micah's story, BUT it was sooo short it actually irritated me with the speed that story between the two characters happened... it was just too fast, and I never got that lost in the story feeling. Micah could've easily had his own full length book and while I appreciate the Author giving us this HEA for Micah and that it was free, (I would've been irritated to have paid even a little for it) I would've gladly paid full price for a regular length book. This book even with the HEA left me feeling placated and not happy.

Although I enjoy it for the nostalgia of the series, I wish it would have been longer. It was rushed and it reads rushed. I also found the villain confusing, not going to spoil it but I was stumped in his behavior. All in all, I wish it would have been a full fledged book and not a rushed make it a happy ever after for everyone.

a witch who has lost his magic and the woman who loves him. i really don't like short stories as they don't give the reader time to become invested in the story and characters, and the world that the author is building. i do enjoy this author's other works

I was so looking forward to this and was really disappointed. Micah was always one of my favourite characters but this seemed really rushed with a few bad predictable scenarios thrown in. Micah would have made a really wonderful leading character.

Not much to itReads like an epilogue, which is okay, except it's billed as a short story. This lacks a bit of anticipatory action. I would've liked a little more development of a plot since it was to be a short story.

After finishing the Elemental Witches series I was thrilled that there was a short story about Micah posted in the free reads section on Anya Bast's website. While I really enjoyed the story, I was disappointed that it was so short. I wish that Micah had gotten his own book.

I loved being back in the elemental world but the story just left me wanting to know more about the others and what they were doing. I was happy to see Stefan suffering but I still wish there was another book that could help them get their magick back, sigh.

I can't say that I really enjoyed this as much as Bast's other books. It just seemed to rushed and as if it was lacking something. Very sad because I loved her other books. Though for it being a free 18 page ebook I guess it was okay.

4 stars for the book. Really wished it was a little longer and brought all the major players back. Kind of like an epilouge. The series was a really good one and hated to see it end. I wish goodreads would allow you to rate books AND series. This series was a total 5 stars.

Meh...I wasn't crazy about this. I think Micah should have had a full length book instead of this short story.

I was happy to see Micah get a happily ever after, but it was too fast. I really wish Anya Bast would write another novel in this series!
