David Grant is a wealthy billionaire in total command of this business ventures and his employees. When he sees what he wants, he usually gets it, and makes no excuses for his assertiveness; that is until he meets Sloane Porter, a woman determined to carve out a life for herself in Alaska, far away from her New York past.Billionaire's Bubble is a wonderful story of David and Sloane's romance. I loved the chemistry between this couple, and found myself rooting for them to overcome their preconceived notions about love, to embrace what was unfolding between them. Mrs. Montclair knows how to develop a story with wonderful layers of emotional depth and realism. Every woman will relate to Sloane's desire for the depths of a man's love and commitment before letting herself get lost in grand romantic gestures. Sloane set the tone from the first date that she would never concede to being a man's plaything, no matter how much money he possesses and such a declaration put David on notice. On the surface, some may think this novel is only a cat-and-mouse game but if you read it carefully you will see how Mrs. Montclair reminds readers that some people from perfect childhoods and great families may discard love too quickly, when fixated on a romantic ideal, in the same way some scarred people reject love swiftly, due to past heartaches. The key to love is openness, patience, and faith in yourself and accepting true soul mates are coupled by their actions and not their words.Angeline M. BishopAuthor of North Star

This girl is soooo annoying!!!! She says she wants forever and wont settle for less... He says he doesnt and never does! Then she says she isnt a one night stand... He kisses her and then she asks him to take her to bed! Did she not just say she didnt want a one night stand Earlier she was jealous and was leaving because she thought he was playing her... Shes angry with him (of course) ... He says his mum died in a car crash and all is forgiven! I get that she would feel simpathetic for him but after she could have still left. I know if i got cheated on i would not stick around. She claims she speaks her min but she lied to David when he asked qhat he did to upset her! Also, David seems a little "too" friendly with Maya at the start. I felt like more was happening between them but after the balcony scene, everything felt normal again. *** So i finished the book and it was torture. It was soo obvious she was pregnant. Who says no when u love the person that is proposing to u just because you told him you were pregnant? HE HAD THE RING? He was planning to prepose anyways! She just happened to say her news first. The girl is actually so stupid. Ergh. Lexi. If i was sloane... She would not be alive right now! (Book world LOL) i would have dragged her out by her neck, smashed her face into the nearest tree, rub her face into the floor for 10 minutes, knock out her teeth one-by-one, shoved them back in her mouth, then obviously rip out her hair clump by clump. LOL! no lie, this b*tch would be alive right not!Apart from that, this book was alright. Tried to give it a try, even though the reviews were bad, because i never read books that have bad reviews so i thought i would give it a chance and have my own view on it … worst thing ive ever done and i wont be doing that again!!

I was looking forward to this book and it started so well and to be honest the rest of the book was good it was just Sloane, the more I read the more I struggled with it. The story and other characters were good, in some cases really good I absolutely loved David and he tried so hard, Tony and Maya also but Sloane what was wrong with her at times she was like a immature six year old child I really struggled to get to the end of the book because of this, I can't give examples without spoiling it, I must admit I'm curious if it's just me am I too critical or did she really, really annoy anyone else.

it was okay, goodbut ughhh it just had something missing. I think it's just the whole billionaire man and young in-search-of-a-job woman thing :/ but I read the blurb... so the blames on meanywayyy... Sloane is a pure and utter idiot. I didn't like her... she was very contradicting, and the outward feelings she puts out are NOTHING like her inner feelings. I felt sorry for David, cos she was a confusing woman! especially with Peter, was she upset? was she just shocked? was she unhappy that he wasn't pining after her? I just... ughh, just don't get it with her!David's nice though :)

It's 2016 and this would be my first review for some time and I am doing this mini review because I would like to justify my rating for this book. The story line was whacked. I don't even had a chance to catch my breath (or my brain for that matter) due to its fast phased story line or it was supposed to be fast? I felt that everything was too fast and the characters are very much unlikable for me. Gaahh! I had to skipped pages and pray that the book would just say 'END' already. I was tempted to put in my 'DNF' shelves but I still made it! *Silent pat in the back*

The Billionaire's Bauble is the last thing Sloane Porter is looking for when she becomes fascinated with David Grant. David Grant has always considered women as baubles to have at his beck and call. This is a fun and often times witty romance where David learns he has met his match in Sloane; she will not let him push her around and the harder he works for her attention and acceptance the more he wants her. The role of her mother is perfect and the support of David's friends helps pull the story together into a fun romance to be enjoyed.

Overall I liked the story line and would have given it three stars if it wasn't for the fact that I didn't like or respect Sloane. Her actions completely went against what she was saying. Example: for Sloane to say one min. "I wont have sex on the first date" to having sex and letting David get her bra off at the interview just didn't help me to respect her. I loved David's Charater for the most part. I really think there could have been more to the story line to make it stand out from others like it.

Its a good thing I'm reading an ebook, because this book is so bad, I want to throw it across the room and it was free. The characters are totally undeveloped and the narration and dialogue is just silly season. The writing itself was decent, it was the dialogue that was so stupid. I didn't like the heroine at all. She was totally silly and the scenes were totally unrealistic and most of it was predictable. I couldn't wait to finish it so I could move on to something else worth my while.

Sloane kind of pissed me the heck off. Her idea of love is basically in line with that of a 10 year old. She wants this perfect guy, and she's completely unwilling to settle for anything else, but all of a sudden she does a 180 at the end after her mother chastises her for her unrealistic expectations. Meh.

The story was okay.... I thought it went faster than normal story lines. Sloane jumped into love a little too fast for me. I couldn't get over how they talked to each other, it always seemed too formal. Sloane seemed to say David's name way too much for me. I caught myself skipping ahead and just skimming over the pages.

I knew I'd love the book from the first page. The characters had amazing chemistry! I've never been to Fairbanks, Alaska, but the book made me long to visit it one day. I can't wait to read Ann Montclair's next book.

I loved this book. I read it all in one day. I couldn't put it down. The cat and mouse between David and Sloane kept me turning the pages. This story reminded me of an old school love story mixed with modern sensibility. I can't wait to read Ann's next book.

I like strong men and women in romance but at times I felt Sloane wasn't as strong as she was stubborn. Sometimes I think she only said no because she knew David wanted her to say yes.

So 2* might be a bit unfair.. But it was just so predictable, and just not that believable!
