Note: I purchased a second-hand copy of this book at a thrift store close to my home. Readers around the world, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the U.S., contributed these captivating accounts. My thoughts: This book was a fairly quick read, although I was very thankful that it was a collection of short stories, which made it easy to stop and set down without thinking that you're going to miss something. Some of the stories were very comical, while others were heartwarming. Overall, I give this book 4 stars, because while I did enjoy it, I did think that there was some tightening up that could have been done within the stories, and did find the different writing styles slightly distracting.

Cute collection of very short stories, often in letter format, about the clever things people have seen their pets or other animals do. There is a series of them and they are sold as a fund-raiser for animal welfare charities which is a nice idea. Some of the tales are quite amazing, some funny, and some sad. A quick read but I'll be keeping this one.
