Enjoyed the way the author weaved the current day, past, and the story in the book the main character reads. The characters never grabbed me and sucked me in though.

This is a quietly beautiful story, very well told. I loved the combination of hiking, literature, personal goals, friendships and grief, experienced through the eyes of an authentic and original heroine.
