Not a fave, spoilers below.I debated giving this book 2 or 3 stars and with everything I didn't like about it, I decided a two. I apologize to the author, but this book wasn't my cup of tea. The grammar, punctuation, and spelling wasn't too bad. There were only a few mistakes. Looks like the author took the time to proof reward the book. The overall story wasn't bad. It had a slow start and then a quick ending. This book contained two stories, but I didn't really want to read the second story. The first thing about this story I didn't like was the insinuation that this book was an MC romance. The only thing mention regarding MC was that Mack, the MC president sent Dennis an MC member to get his ex and bring back to him to basically kill her. Other than that no mention of MC, so how can this book be about an MC romance?Dennis ended up being a big wuss. The author introduced him as tough, but when he got to Colorado he turned out not being an alpha at all. He ended up toward the end of this book getting his rear end kicked by Mack. At least in other MC romance, the male characters get beat up some but fight back. Also when Anita told him to quit the 'MC', he just did. This book had a slow start, but ended quick. It seemed once they slept together it was over. More plot in the middle and end of the book would have been great. Once e characters decided to get together for the baby, her pregnancy we by quick with hardly no day to day or even week by week information. They ended up together when she was 3 months pregnant and the next you know she is almost 6 months pregnant. No real timeline to this story.I hated how Anita was treated at the hospital. The nurse Cindy, needed to be slapped for the way she was acting and talking to Anita or about Anita. Then when Mack showed up, Anita tried to tell them that he was an abusive ex, even though he claimed to be her husband. The hospital staff treated her like she was crazy. Lastly, I have to say this book did and could have potential if written differently. I know I am not author, but this is what the reviews are for, to get the opinions of the fans. I am not sure if I will read any other books by this author.

When Anita met Mack she thought he was it for her, she was so in love and it didn't matter what anyone said to her. Young love, or so she thought, turns into a nightmare and finally she finds the courage to leave. That should have been it for her, but Mack isn't willing to let her go without teaching her a lesson. Enter Dennis, he joined the Iron Titans wanting a place to belong and a sense of family. When his Pres sends him on a mission to get his runaway girlfriend back he doesn't question it, until he has her in the car to go back and she lays everything out and begs him not to do it. What starts as a sort of kidnapping ends in a love neither were looking for at the time. Dennis knows he will do whatever it takes to keep Anita and the baby he considers his safe, even when Mack comes looking for them both. In Dennis Anita finds the kind of love she confused the beginning of her relationship with Mack. Dennis is awesome for Anita and gives her more than she ever imagined. A great read from Ashely Hall. I received an ARC from the author.

This book deserves a 3.5 out of 5 star rating. There were many reason I did and did not like this book. The first reason I did not like the book was because Anita the female main character in the book is always talking about her abusive ex Mack and how she worries about him too much. The last reason I do not like this book is because Dennis the male main character in the beginning of the book call Anita a lot of bad names that I do not like. The first reason I did like this book was because I like how the author takes time to write about a part where Anita is in the hospital about have her baby. The second thing I like is where Anita is sleeping in the hospital and she has a dream about her baby and how things will be okay in their life because of the child and Dennis. The third thing I like is how even though the baby isn't Dennis's flesh and blood he loves the child just the same. The last thing I like is how the book finishes off compared to how things were in the beginning. This is why I do and do not like the book.

She thought she knew best as any eighteen yr. old would. Was she wrong? This is about a manipulative biker boss, and a young woman who enter into an abusive relationship. For four years, Anita took the abuse, because she was told she had no worth. She never looked at the others in the biker gang, she was cut down by Mack ( the biker boyfriend) if she did. He caused not only emotional abuse, but physical. One day.. she had ENOUGH! She ran. Left for Colorado. She had to get away from Mack. In comes Dennis. He's been with the titans for only a few years, and Mack thinks he is stupid enough to follow his orders. He is sent to bring Anita back however he can. Dennis idiolizes Mack. Takes what he says as gospel. Bring her back so Mack can teach her not to run away again? He can do that. Anita makes her way in small town CO. Getting a job, a rental cabin, a new life. Little did she know how it was all going to come crashing down around her. This book contains some scenes, that may cause trigger points in some readers. Should be read by mature readers 18+

I received this book as an ARC for a honest review!4.5 Stars!MC Romances are one of my favorites genres. And this one did not disappoint!Mack is president of the MC and Dennis is one of his men. Dennis is sent to bring home Anita, who has decided she no longer wants to take Mack's abuse and tries to go into hiding. Dennis learns the truth about Mack and the abuse Anita has been through with him and also falls for her. He decides to leave the MC and stay with Anita but Mack has doubts that Dennis really lost Anita's trail and want revenge on Dennis and Anita. Not too dark but some dark themes.

I only read until chapter 8, but by then I've had enough. Whiney heroine, 22 year old, good-girl bad-girl thing going on. Very immature, and those tattoos aren't going to help her with her "bad ass" image. At all. Then we've got he "hero", if you want to call him that. He's view of women in general and how he thinks about them, it's just gross, and immature, and not sexy at all. Don't need to read about such things."I don't use no fuckin' rubbers"And that from a biker who's had his fair share of women. Gross... just gross... and what does she do? Nothing at all! Just let's him get on with it. Very well done Anita. Not!

I voluntarily received a ARC of this book for a honest review. I really wasn't sure what to think of this book at first but after reading a few chapters I really enjoyed it. I usually not one to read MC books but this one just captured my heart and I had to finish it. I really love the characters in the story. Can't wait to read another one of her books!!

I really, really just have a weakness for biker bad boys. I loved the chemistry between these two and the friendship they formed. He asked her dads permission to marry her! Awe. Who still does that?! This guy. It was a great read from beginning to end.I voluntarily received this as an arc from the author.

Pretty goodI enjoyed it but I did not get long enough to really feel what the characters were feeling. The story was good but then it was like move on once you met her, then him, drama, then they were together. I wanted to slow down. Anyway, good read and I read the other book bonuses they were the same. I would still read what she writes because she does write a good story

I have previously read books by this author that I enjoyed much more. One I gave 5 stars and the other 4 stars. I don't quite know what happened with this book.I liked the idea behind the story but it was over-long and inconsistent. I think it could be very good with some very tight editing.I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review
