Fifty States: Every Question Answered Reviews
I have gotten so much information off this book that I didn't think was possible to begin with. This book has so much more information, than what I had ever learned in geography classes during my schooling years. Between learning how there is one state that has an official state star devoted to it, to the state that has "more cattle than people" this book is an excellent and awesome book that a high school US History or geography teacher might want to brush up upon prior to teaching the class, or to help supplement what they are teaching about in class. Each state entry has three separate sections. The first two pages contain a general overview of the state and full page map and overall information on state information (statehood date, state tree/flower/bird, state quarter (as introduced), etc.) but it also contains about one to two pages worth of how geography has played a major role in the state to a few pages of how history has played a role on the state.I actually enjoyed reading this book so much, that several years later, when I bought the updated Kindle version, I chose to reread the book and see if I had missed any other facts that I may have overlooked the first time. Gladly, I missed some but chose to highlight and share some passages I thought shareable through the Goodreads platform.
I enjoyed browsing through this book. A very high level 4-8 pages about every state. It reminded me of my childhood when my parents gave me a puzzle of the united states, in which I learned the capitals, etc. I loved it!
I love learning about states and geography. The book helps me learn about the 50 states in America.
