Essentials of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment Reviews
Textbook material for to-be counselors, social workers, career advisors or anyone who wants to administer the MBTI well. Honestly it's pretty dry stuff but it is kinda expected. Main takeaways from this are the understanding of the step two of the assessment, and also the fact that the client has the final say. This is definitely not a prescriptive tool, but more self-exploratory, and it is the role of the counselor to go through this with the client. Note to self is that the client has the final endorsement.
This has been a very interesting book. Some of the statistics related to therapy went over my head. But other than that I found myself nodding alot to things I agreed with, especially about my own type, and also being surprised and excited to learn other things I never knew about the MBTI. This is a pretty great book, I'm glad my mom had to read it for her class so that I could.
Good congnitive functions definitions and good cautions against misuses of typing.
i want to read it ?
